Nursery to class-2

In the pre-primary section, we have taken special care to create a warm, welcoming, and cheerful atmosphere, in which children feel secure and happy. Classrooms are bright and spacious, opening into a green garden that allows children to explore the world of grass, sand, flowers, and pets.

The Pre-Primary curriculum at RIS is a perfect blend of the traditional and the Montessori Method of teaching. In this curriculum, the practical approach of Montessori is used to teach the concepts of Mathematics, Composite Science, and Jolly phonics. The Jolly Phonics program is designed to teach children to read and write. Children learn the 42 letter sounds of the English language, rather than the alphabet. They are then taken through the stages of blending words to develop reading and writing skills.
